Hitachi’s skinny TV lands

The "say not to size zero" argument may get support in some parts of the world, but not here in T3 Towers. No sirree, we're all about the skinny - jeans, lattes, receptionists, you name it, the skinnier the better. And that most definitely applies to our TVs.

Which is why Comet has gone up in our slimline estimation, as it's become the first UK retailer to sell Hitachi's 32-inch, 35mm thin UT32MH70 LCD TV.

Dubbed Europe's thinnest telly, minus the bezel it's around one third the depth of a 'conventional' flatscreen, although who decided what was conventional is anyone's guess.

It weighs in at a gravity-friendly 10.9kilos and delivers HD performance. While complete technical specs aren't listed, at £1,300 we're expecting the Full Monty and no stinting. We don't care where you put it Hitachi, just cram it all in there.
