Do you know that waking up on the right side of the bed forecasts a good day? Don’t let anything ruin your day, especially when that day is your single day off. You still don’t have no idea what am I talking about, dont you? It is about your morning shower ritual that may often go totally wrong and spoil the whole day. It is about those unreachable shampoo bottles and shower lotions that fall from the shelves over your head.
Drug dealers rejoice! Disposable phones are heading to the UK. Costing just £10, you can make a few calls then bin it when the fuzz get a sniff of what you’re up to. If you don’t dabble, and we advise you don’t if you fancy staying out of prison, you can use this dealer’s phone of choice when visiting the UK without paying roaming charges. It also has a GPS chip for tracking. That’s practically doing the police’s work for them.
Rubbish husbands rejoice! There’s now a ring that’ll heat up to remind you that it’s your anniversary. If it could tell you what your misses actually likes, and that it’s not seven pints bookended by trips to Burger King, then the world would most definitely be a happier place.
Nokia’s giving you free music for a year. Its ‘Comes With Music’ phones will offer you gratis tuneage for 12 months, although none have been announced yet and we don’t know what the selection is like. Still though, anything that farts on iTunes’ stir fry is good news to us.
Speaking of music, and Nokia, but not farting, the 5320 handset has a great new function for musos everywhere. Just say the name of a track to start it playing. Although, if you hear someone in the street swearing, your NWA playlist might start up unintentionally.
ITV’s now on iTunes. Although it’s missed the opportunity to call the service iITV, which is a shame. The selection looks a bit poor too, with whimsical fare like Brideshead Revisited and Lewis propping up the schedules. Where’s America’s Wildest Police Chases, with silver-haired fox Sheriff John Bunnell (retired)? Although given the quality of most of ITV’s output, it’s a bit like going to a restaurant called Gespatcho a la Insect and complaining there’s a fly in your soup.
LG’s new phone is called the Secret. Remember that new Black Label handset we exclusively revealed a couple of weeks ago? No? Well it’s the world’s slimmest 5-meg camera phone, has a touchscreen for media functions, and is called Secret. It’s out in May, and looks fantastic.
In other new, Sony buys the Gracenote music database used by iTunes, some nutter has invented jeans with a keyboard on the crotch (don’t ask why he’s been pressing the same button for half an hour), and the PSP gets video downloads. Oh, and a Dalek voice changing helmet is out soon.

Forget the messages left for your husband/wife by different callers? When you are not at home the machine does all the work for you. However when you pick up the phone it won’t usually record the conversation. People who have more serious problems then just to decide what to wear tonight tend to forget unimportant things. FireRock’s SD recorder will help you with this problem.

Maybe we’re confused, but we were under the impression that the oft-delayed, mist-like device known as the Phantom Lapboard had been released to the public. Apparently, we were mistaken. Regardless, Maximum PC has gotten a thorough, in-depth look at the $130 pivoting keyboard / mouse / mousepad combo. We won’t bore you with the details of their encounter with this beast — which they claim is due in June now — though we can tell you that they complain of a “wimpy” left mouse click, which frankly is a deal-breaker for 4/16ths of the Engadget editorial staff. The other 12/16ths don’t like it because they had a bad experience with a matte black keyboard once.

NVIDIA’s been on a hyper-competitive tear lately, and while the latest rumor isn’t quite on par with Roy Taylor saying that the Intel CPU is “dead,” it reinforces the company’s new win-at-all-costs attitude. Seems ATI’s upcoming RV770-based Radeon HD 4800 might threaten NVIDIA’s dominance of the high-end graphics market, and that’s just not acceptable — so the company is planning on pushing up the release of the GeForce 9900 to July. That’s one billion transistors and GDDR3 memory, if you haven’t been memorizing rumored graphic card specs — we’re guessing that blue screen of death will render mighty fast on that rig.

As we’re all too well aware,
Mario Kart can be serious business for some folks, and Mario Kart Wii will certainly be no exception, which makes the right choice of controller all the more important. Thankfully, our pals at Joystiq have now come through with a meticulous comparison of all five driving options at your disposal. That includes the Wiimote on its own, the Wiimote with
Wii Wheel, the Wiimote / nunchuk combo, the Classic Controller, and the tried and true GameCube controller. Somewhat surprisingly, while the GameCube Controller and Classic Controller each helped to put in some solid times, Joystiq actually found the WIimote / nunchuck combo to the best all around option, with it faring particularly well when using a bike. Lagging far behind, however, was the solo Wiimote (which they recommend to avoid at all costs), although the addition of the Wii Wheel did apparently did help to make things a bit more manageable. Hit up the link below for the full rundown.

Considering that Samsung’s YP-P2 just might be the most updated PMP of all time, we’re guessing that a lot of things that users would have changed just months ago have already been done by the powers that be. That being said, we critical gadget owners are never truly satisfied at heart, so we’re curious to know how you’d spin the forthcoming firmware update(s). Or would you focus your attention on external matters, instead? We know you’ve had ample time to fool around with one of Sammy’s most prized media players ever, so don’t be shy down there in comments, alright? Who knows — your recommendations could be front and center in the next Blue Wave.
