Epic, the creator of Fortnite and the Unreal engine, launched its game store in late 2018 and has since periodically donated games for computers for free. This time the store is distributing the last part of the legendary GTA series, which was done by the Rockstar developers.

GTA 5 was released in 2013 on the previous generation consoles, Xbox 360 and PS3, and only then appeared for the new PS4 and Xbox One, as well as on the PC. Previously, it was available on Steam, but now the Valve store has a competitor in the form of the Epic Games Store. The store distributes an extended version of the game with all the extras and bonuses for the multiplayer.

The demand for a free game turned out to be so high that at the time of the announcement, the Epic Games Store website site fell - error 500.

Despite its age, GTA V is still supported by developers and people play it - for the multiplayer new missions and other activities come out. And the game itself is still selling better than many modern games - more than 120 million copies have been sold over the entire time.
