PlayStation 5: Sony details DualSense and console accessories
The next-generation control will receive firmware updates

Sony revealed the 2 versions of PlayStation 5 along with the first official accessories that the next-generation console will receive. However, the company did not give additional details about the DualSense, the headset, and the other peripherals it prepares.

Fortunately, this changed recently, as Sony updated the official site of PlayStation 5 with more information about its accessories. Thanks to this, we know more details about the technology and functions that the console controller will offer.

The company also shared information about the PULSE 3D Wireless Headset, the remote control for multimedia content, and the HD camera of the PlayStation 5.

Sony once again highlighted the technology of the DualSense, control that will feature immersive haptic feedback, adaptive dynamic triggers, ergonomic design, and an integrated microphone.

The publication confirms that the remote will offer the possibility of chatting in online games with said microphone, but conventional headsets or headphones can also be used thanks to the 3.5 mm connector. Audio and voice capture can be locked with the push of a button.

The controller will incorporate a new button for the Create function, which allows you to capture and transmit your favorite moments from your games. This addition will replace the Share button on the DualShock 4.

Finally, the control will incorporate a rechargeable battery through a USB type C port, an integrated speaker, and a motion sensor. Sony confirmed that control will receive firmware updates.

The company prepares a special accessory to charge the battery of your controls. The DualSense charging station will allow you to dock up to 2 controllers. The accessory will charge the controls as fast as when they are connected to the console.

According to Sony, you can free up the USB ports without worrying about the battery or the performance of the controller.

Pulse 3D Wireless Headset:

PlayStation 5 promises to offer 3D audio, so Sony specially designed the PULSE 3D Wireless Headset to take advantage of this feature. The accessory features dual microphones, noise cancellation, and touch controls.

In addition, it incorporates a rechargeable battery through a USB type C port. The headset will be able to give its users the full Tempest 3D experience, which will offer "soundscapes where it feels as if the sound is coming from all directions".

Its touch controls will allow you to mute the microphones, adjust the general volume and the game audio. Its battery will last approximately 12 hours. The headset will be compatible with PS5, PS4, PC, and Mac thanks to an included wireless adapter.

Multimedia Controle:

PlayStation 5 will not only be a video game console, but it will also allow you to have a multimedia center. For this reason, Sony will launch a special control to navigate through the various menus of the console.

Thanks to this command you can pause or play content, use functions such as fast forward or backward, turn on the console, as well as adjust the volume of compatible televisions

HD camera:

Finally, Sony will offer an HD camera with dual wide-angle lenses that will allow capturing at 1080p. The device integrates a base and support with various PlayStation 5 tools.

The accessory will serve to simply make recordings or to stream while you play. The camera will work in conjunction with the Create button on the DualSense. The accessory will be compact so that users will not have problems when placing it anywhere.

Users will be able to use a green screen or make adjustments to backgrounds while broadcasting.
Unfortunately, Sony did not confirm the price or release date of any of the accessories.

PlayStation 5 will debut later this year. Find in this link all the news related to the new generation console.
